Asus Eee PC netbook craze kicked off in 2007, and now Master of the returns of small and sleek with its Eee best ever. The 1000HE combines extra 901 battery life and power and the ability 1002HA (which we reviewed in March), and throws in a MacBook Pro almost full-sized keyboard-style chiclet.
The 1000HE is the first netbook we examined with an Intel Atom N280 again that raises the level of clocks from 1.6 GHz to 1.66 GHz, and the front-side bus 533-667 MHz Other than that, is basically the same hardware as the 10-inch Asus's other models, like the 1002HA. The 1000HE is shiny brushed aluminum exterior 1002HA fingerprint exposed to plastic, with keyboard chiclet repressed 1000HA is more standard keys.
Although not so large or comfortable as the keyboard on HP Mini 1000, the keys chiclet on 1000HE is a second place. Battery life is excellent, because we had more than five hours on our stand
